Drugs Counselling / Support

As a result of many of us becoming a little more used to using video-calling services during the pandemic, as well as in-person counselling, I have been able to offer drugs counselling and support more widely to people living outside of my local area.

I can now offer drugs counselling:
  • in-person in NW5 London (socially-distanced)
  • by video call
  • by telephone

I can also offer drugs support (during detox / reduction / moderation):
  • by video call
  • by telephone
  • using WhatsApp or other messaging services

If you have a problem with drugs and you want to talk about your use, we can arrange an initial session in-person, by video or telephone to assess your situation and your needs.  To enquire about this, please complete the contact form below.

There are too many possible scenarios for me to outline here because people’s drug use, problems and personal situations vary so much, but an initial assessment in-person, by video-call or telephone, will help me get a better sense of what your problem looks like, what you want to do about it, and give you an idea of what I can do to help you.

It may be that you can’t reduce or detoxify from your drug use without experiencing very unpleasant   physical withdrawal symptoms.    In this  case, I could help you explore      medical support from private or local NHS-funded services to get you appropriate care in tandem with  our counselling.

Drugs Counselling and Support is aimed at those who are using:
  • cocaine
  • opiates (heroin,   morphine, codeine, buprenorphine etc)
  • cannabis
  • amphetamines
  • ecstasy/MDMA
  • so-called   'legal-highs' (many of which are now  illegal)

...with the intention of:
  • detoxing
  • abstaining in the short term or indefinitely
  • moderating or controlling their use.
